Book Cliffs - Corcoran Point - Sunset
Occasionally I would look up at the sandstone wall while walking in the wash and wonder where the cliffs weakness lay. There appeared no route through the cliff band. Having faith in whomever created the trial I continued walking knowing I would soon find out.

Book Cliffs
Finally a week of warm weather was forecasted for Western Colorado after several weeks of cool weather (above 50˚). I decided to spend a week hiking in Grand Junction, CO. My intention was to explore several canyons within the Colorado National Monument and Rabbit Valley. However, purchasing a map in Fruita, CO changed my plans, and I found myself heading to the base of the Book Cliffs between Grand Junction and Fruita to bike through Hunter Canyon to The Edge.
