The Little Book Cliffs near Cameo, CO
Accessing BLM (Bureau of Land Management) land through the Cameo Power Plant east of Grand Junction, CO a sign indicated that the Little Book Cliffs Wild Horse Management Area trailhead was a mile away. I did not know Colorado had two areas where wild horses roamed. The other area is the Sand Wash Herd Management Area 45 miles west of Craig, CO and consists of ~411 horses.
